Palm Cove Weather... The weather in Palm Cove has two seasons. The first season, which occurs during Australia's winter months (May to October), has warm temperatures and low rainfall. The second season, occuring during Australia's summer months (November to April), has high temperatures and high levels of rainfall. The sea water temperatures ranges throughout the year from 23 to 29 degrees celsius and is warm enough to swim in all year round. However, because of the warmer water temperatures during the summer months, the waters surrounding Palm Cove play host to Box jellyfish. Special swimming enclosures with nets are erected to keep out the jellyfish.
